Conference venue
Campus Plaine
NO building, 5th floor, "Solvay" room
1050 Brussels

The conference is located on Campus Plaine of ULB. This is not to be confused with the main campus of ULB (Solbosch), which is a 15' walk away. See the following Google Maps link for the precise location of the conference's building.
Travel
By plane
Take a flight to Brussels National Airport (Zaventem) or Charleroi Airport (Brussels South).
Brussels Airport (IATA code: BRU)
About 10km from Brussels. We recommend to choose this airport. There are direct train and bus connections to the city center, and there is also a direct train to Etterbeek station, which is close to the conference.
Charleroi Airport (IATA code: CRL)
About 60km from Brussels. There are buses making the connection between the airport and the Brussels train station Gare du Midi. It takes around 2 hours.
By train
You can plan a national journey on http://www.belgianrail.be/en/.
You can plan an international journey on http://www.b-europe.com/Travel/.
The train station nearest to the conference is Etterbeek station. Alternatively, you can go to one of the main train stations in Brussels (Gare Centrale / Gare du Luxembourg / Gare du Midi) and take public transport.
By car
The ULB parking on the campus is for employees only and is not accessible to visitors unfortunately. There is a street on the campus with paid parking which is a 2' walk from the conference building: Avenue Roger Lallemand.
By subway/tram/bus
The closest metro (=subway) stop is Delta (5' walk).
The closest tram stop is VUB (10' walk).
The closest bus stop is Fraiteur (2' walk).
See the STIB-MIVB website for information on connections; Google maps is pretty good as well in Brussels. You can tap your credit card to pay in public transports.
Accommodation
There is only one hotel nearby the campus, a recently built hotel next to the Delta Hospital: Adagio Delta. It's a 5' walk to the conference. Another good option is to book an airbnb nearby.
Alternatively, we recommend staying around the Flagey neighborhood (35' walk / 25' by bus to the conference), which is a lively and trendy neighborhood offering many nice restaurants and bars.
Yet another option is to stay in the city center and take the subway to the campus (Metro stop Delta, it takes about 45').
